Who doesn’t love relaxing in a hot spring?! This map of Idaho’s hot springs was created using data from the Idaho Department of Water Resources that was collected in the 1970s and 80s. The temperature readings at these springs were reported from 85 degrees to 200 degrees, and pool conditions ranged from muddy seeps to developed pools. While this is not a reliable map to find a new hot spring, it does show the distribution of geothermal activity in Idaho.
