It's cheap, it works, and it doesn't wreck your skin with nasty drying agents.
I've used a lot of different brands of chalk (usually when I need chalk immediately and the BD White Gold is nowhere to be found) but I keep coming back to this one. My hands sweat a lot, and the White Gold does a great job keeping my hands dry and maintaining maximal friction without the need for frequent reapplication. Great for the gym and outdoors on real rock.
This Chalk has worked well to dry out my hands quickly and effectively!
Very good chalk, at a very good price. You can't go wrong.
Black Diamond chalk is my go to favourite. It breaks down well, it has a nice light feeling on my hands, and it doesn't dry my hands so much that they crack. In addition it is a great value. I can't recomend it high enough!
Excellent chalk, and not unreasonably priced. Can easily use right out of the bag if necessary.
Applying it leaves a nice residue of chalk that seems super sticky and lasts for a long time on my hands. I don't feel slippery at the end of long boulder routes and don't need to reapply as often. Very chunky, good stuff. I don't know what else to say: it gets on my hands good and makes them climb good.
This chalk does the job. It keeps my hands dry, sticky, and for it's price you can't beat it. I have only bought 300g bags, ziplock package works if you keep it clean of chalk or you can put it into another ziplock package. The bag comes with a mixture of chunks and fine chalk.
No complaints, this is one of those you get what you pay for type purchases. Simple loose chalk, works well for refilling chalk balls and as loose chalk in a chalk bag.
As an active Gripsport competitor, short steel bender, and occasional climber, loss of friction is an enemy I'm always at odds with. White Gold came highly endorsed to me by many of my peers and for good reason. It is, literally, the best chalk on the market...I never hesitate to recommend it to my friends, but try my darndest to keep it secret from my rivals in Grip!
