Idaho Mountain Touring is a premier outdoor, bike, ski, snowboard, and cross-country ski shops whose customers expect the highest level of customer service to keep them enjoying there choice of outdoor recreation. The Sales Associate will need knowledge on a broad spectrum of activities but biking and skiing technical knowledge is a must. The ideal candidate will have outdoor retail experience, but training is available for those who are technically apt and motivated to learn.

Key Responsibilities

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Greeting customers, responding to questions, improving engagement with merchandise and providing outstanding customer service.
• Answering phones and processing phone orders.
• Operating cash registers, managing financial transactions, and balancing drawers.
• Achieving established sales goals.
• Directing customers to merchandise within the store.
• Increasing in store sales.
• In-depth product and inventory knowledge.
• Maintaining an orderly appearance throughout the sales floor.
• Introducing promotions and opportunities to customers.
