We stand behind everything we sell. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, simply return the item within 30 days and we'll replace it or give you a refund. - USPS Priority Mail: 2-3 days transit time from Idaho Mountain Touring.
- UPS Ground: 2-5 business days in transit.
- Air shippments are done by direct quote. Based on size/zip.

We use both USPS & UPS for our ground shipment depending on the quickest delivery. Orders usually ship within 24hrs during normal business days.
Items shipped from our warehouse may see additional in transit time. Although most items ship direct from the warehouse, some items will be shipped to our Boise office before be forwarded on to you. You can expect a 2-3 day increase in shipping time when this happens.
We will provide tracking once the item(s) have left the Boise location
Most orders will be ready within one business day. Please keep in mind that some items may require additional processing time to transfer from off-site locations. Other items may require additional processing time for assembly. We will call or email you once your order is ready for pickup. If you need an item right away we ask that you call us to confirm that the product is available before heading over to our store. Unless special arrangements are made in advance, orders need to be picked up within 15 days or a 10% restocking fee will be charged.
Local and regional customers reserve your equipment and/or apparel online. If you are intersted in holding item(s) to try on or maybe it's the last one in stock simply use our checkout system to hold those item(s) for 24 hours. Here's how it works.
- Find the item(s) you are interested in holding and add them to your shopping cart and start the checkout process.
- Enter the correct information in the Tax & Shipping Estimator, using in-store pickup.
- Create an account with us or use the guest checkout.
- Select the Reserve in-store option under Payment Method.
- Enter all of your information Name, Address, etc.
- Finally - Checkout!
- NO you won't have to pay shipping for in stock items. Orders under $75 that are not in stock will have freight charges added after your approval.
That's it. We will pull the items and set them aside. Simply come into the store an let a sales aassociate know that you have items reserved.
SHIPPING (Alaska / Hawaii)
We are working hard to achieve a reasonable freight charges. Some zones cost considerably more than others. No freight will be calculated on the initial order and you WILL BE contacted within 1 business day with actual freight charges. No billing will take place until we have your persmission so order with confidence. We do a lot of business to these two states and this has been by far the best method for both parties.
Please be sure to leave accurate contact information and check your spam filters too.
We will choose to use US Priority Mail in most cases. If your item falls into an oversized catagory ( bikes, racks, cases, etc...) UPS will probably be your best rate.

We are working hard to bring our great products to Canadian customers and it's not without a few headaches. With several zones and remote locations, shipping costs can vary considerably. We try to deliver your product in a safe timely fashion. We will ship USPS to Canada and the duties and taxes are handled on your side of the border. We hear the US Postal Service may not charge any additional duties. Please be aware that additional expenses may happen. WE CANNOT CONTROL DUTIES.
With that being said we're moving toward actual freight / plus a $2 handling fee. We will contact you with an actual quote as soon as possible. Email us your address and items you would like to purchase. Requested quotes on weekend days will be answered the first business day available. Keep in mind the size of the package is really the determining factor. Big boxes cost more!

We do not offer direct overseas shipping. However, we would like to suggest a forwarding company. We have looked at several different companies and since your are customer we wanted the experience to be easy and affordable. USAbox has a very good track record with our Better Business Bureau and they have received an A+ rating.
As an international customer you will get our normal shipping rates in the continental US. Most ground shipments are free if your purchase is over $75 US dollars. Some restrictions apply. The item is shipped to USAbox and forwarded to you. Rates with USAbox depend on country and package size. Idaho Mountain Touring has nothing to do with the shipping from that point. We have no idea what the rates will be so no use asking. USAbox has over 40,000 customers so they must be competitive with there prices and policies. I know that have free plans for individuals.

* There are certain products that may not be available for overseas shipments. You will be contacted via email if an issue arrises.
If there’s a problem with something you purchased from us, you can either bring it to our store or ship it back. Ship returns via Ground UPS or insured US Mail (we do not accept CODs). If we have shipped the wrong or damaged merchandise we will issue a call tag and have it shipped back on our dime! We will also issue call tags if you wish to expedite the process on any return if you wish. We will subtract the call tag amount from your pruchase price refund. Merchandise returned that appears used, missing tags, or past 30 Days will be subject to a restocking fee or refused. End of season clearance or sale items may be returned minus the freight fee ( Typically our minimun freight of 8.99). No returns on Special Orders. (Labor fees are not refundable, i.e., custom built wheels.)

SHIPPING TO A NON-BILLING ADDRESS
Orders to non-billing addresses may be held up for further examination. Most orders will NOT ship to non-billing addresses unless arangements have been made or you have an order history with us. We do our best to get product to you securely and responsibly.
IF YOU ABSOLUTELY MUST SHIP TO A NON-BILLING ADDRESS, USE PAY PAL FOR HASSLE FREE CHECK OUT. MOST SECURE WAY TO ORDER ON-LINE.

We protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts all of the information you provide to us and prevents outside parties from being able to "see" your transaction information. When your account information is displayed on your screen, we only display the last five digits of your credit card numbers. Your credit card information is deleted from our sytem in 30 days. If you return merchandise outside this window , please include current contact information. I will need to talk with you for information regarding your credit.
Occasionally, some items are unexpectedly out of stock or unavailable and may be backordered. If this should occur, we will only bill your credit card for merchandise that is actually shipped. The total shipping charge for orders split into multiple shipments will not exceed the amount quoted on original order.
