Here are some basic " Pack Packing Tips"  that can really make a difference.

  • Be sure to compress the contents solidly using compression straps
  • Give the pack a tall thin profile
  • Maintain side to side balance ( packs that lean can be hard on the spine and irritate your shoulders, not fun.)
  • Get as much gear in the pack as possible ( to much external strapping of items can wreak havoc on your balance.)
  • Remember: No heavy items on top!
