Great sleeping bag all around. Light enough to carry backpacking. Only complaint is that it got a little damp when it rained on us during our hike and it didn't dry out quickly. Wet spots were cold. Just keep it dry and its a good choice.
Glad I bought it. Good 3 - 4 season bag. The only drawback is the zipper is not compatible with other sleeping bag manufacturers for zipping together. Great bag otherwise.
I bought the Trestles bag from REI for trekking in the Cordillera Blanca of Peru, in July. We spent several nights above 14,000 feet, awakening to ice on the tents.I used a silk bag liner and slept in old polypro long underwear. The tent was cold, but I was warm, which is why I got this bag. The hood was a real help with warmth and very convenient to keep my inflatable pillow in place. The included compression stuff sack was great as the bag is pretty puffy and would take up too much space for transport without it. The small gear pocket inside was surprisingly useful.
I purchased this bag to take with me on the Inca Trail last week and am so happy with my decision! I was never hot or cold, it was the start of "winter" in the Andes of Peru and as the campground elevations changed so did the nightly temperature and the bag held up! I look forward to many more camping trips with this bag. I loved the color, the size was perfect for me (I am 5'1"), and most importantly that I got a great night sleep!
Purchased the Women's Trestles 15 to replace a unisex synthetic bag from another manufacturer (who will be unnamed). My favorite sleeping bag so far! The highlights: -Packs down into the provided stuff sack to fit nicely into the bottom of my 50L backpack -Fairly lightweight for it's temperature rating -GREAT for shorter women - I am only 5'1" and I don't feel like I'm swimming in it -Stash pocket on inside of the bag adds a nice spot to store electronics or small items (contacts, etc.) -Durable and quality construction - nothing on this bag feels cheap Overall an awesome bag that I'm sure I'll have for many years to come!
I've been using this sleeping bag on a regular basis for 4 years now and I love it! It really keeps you warm, even at low temperatures and the zippers on both sides are handy. And it does not make tons of noise every time you turn in your sleep, which is great for the people sharing a tent or room with you.
Bought for my wife after our summer road trip with the kids. We all have sleeping bags. Ended up camping in Utah for a few nights and it was 40 degrees in July and I sacrificed my sleeping bag for her sheet. Anyway, bought this Marmot product on the strength of their customer service for our tent. A piece broke off the tent and they shipped in no time unlike many places that intend to place some kind of blame for a failed part.
My granddaughter was thrilled with her gift for Christmas. She loves camping and will get much use out of her sleeping bag.
I am very pleased with my women's Marmot Trestles 15 regular sleeping bag. Although not used yet for our upcoming Alaska hike, the trial fit is perfect for my 5' 6" frame. It compacts nicely into the included compression sack & packs snugly into my backpack. Many thanks to Marmot customer relations who bent over backwards to help me exchange a incorrectly ordered Christmas gift men's Trestle 15 with just a Purchase Order for the correct size & gender sleeping bag. I look forward to many years of use and by the way it looks great in our Marmot tent!
