Giant XTC Jr. 24

Giant's XTC Jr. is ready for fun and adventure! This is a 24-inch-wheel mountain bike your child is sure to love. It features a lightweight aluminum frame, a suspension fork to smooth the bumps, and a 21-speed drivetrain with reliable, intuitive Shimano twist shifters to conquer off-road trails as well as the route to school. No matter where they ride, safe linear-pull brakes and plenty of dirt-worthy components are ready to go. The low top tube makes getting on and off a breeze, the kickstand makes parking easy, and the bell lets everyone know a bike is rolling through!

      Comments:

Bought this bike for my 9-year-old son. It's lighter than his 20", and it handles well. He rides it back and forth to school, and occasionally on dirt roads. But several weeks after purchasing it, the rear tire came out of true, on a dirt road about 5 miles from our car. The following week the front suspension froze. Now it's in the shop waiting for new front forks. Very disappointing. I expected better from Giant.
