Pavlis was a well-loved employee at Idaho Mountain Touring and knew many people in the community both through his work and through his involvement in cycling. People came to IMT Friday upon hearing the news, to offer their condolences. IMT’s sponsored bike racing team, Lactic Acid Racing, is planning to raise funds in memoriam, according to Lactic Acid team secretary Nikki Allemande. Pavlis was both a team member and an active racer with Lactic Acid. Friends say he was looking forward to the Idaho State Road Championships in which he had planned to race on Sunday, June 14
He leaves behind a wife, Elisa, and daughter Sarma, aged 2 ½.
A fund has been set up at Mountain West Bank for Elisa and Sarma, those of you who would like to donate can do so starting June 15th.
